2010 Calendar of Events

Once again, it's time to gear up for another season of activities! ORCA will participate in numerous Ventura County events throughout 2010.  Please check back often for updated information.

Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Please join us for the Annual Celebration of the Whales Festival at Channel Islands Harbor. The event highlights the offshore migration of the Pacific Gray Whales (on their north bound migration from Mexican waters to the Bering Sea). The harbor side day's events will feature live entertainment, an art & crafts market, children's activities, whale and marine educations exhibits, BBQ & food booths and a Farmer's Market. Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Yes, there will be whales in April!) Celebrating the return of the California gray whale from the brink of extinction! Please join us for the Annual Earth Day Whale Festival, held at Leo Carrillo State Park. Proceeds from the parking fees go towards The Santa Monica Mountains Natural History Association, whose funding help make this Whale Festival possible.
