2013 Calendar of Events

Thanks to everyone who attended 2012's Spring / Summer activities.

Once again, it's time to gear up for another season of activities! ORCA will participate in numerous Ventura County events this year.  Please check back often for updated information.

Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Please join us for the Annual Celebration of the Whales Festival at Channel Islands Harbor. The event highlights the offshore migration of the Pacific Gray Whales (on their north bound migration from Mexican waters to the Bering Sea). The harbor side day's events will feature live entertainment, an art & crafts market, children's activities, whale and marine educations exhibits, BBQ & food booths and a Farmer's Market. Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Whale Walk at Leo Carillo State Park. (Yes, there will be whales in April!) Please join us for the Annual Whale Walk, held at Leo Carrillo State Park. Details are at the California State Parks web site.

Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Please join us for California Coastal Cleanup Day, the state's largest volunteer cleanup event to remove trash and recyclables  from our beaches and inland waterways.  Further information can be obtained from the California Coastal Commission.
